A little different than our normal blog, but I’ve been getting some questions on why we are selling a hat with weird cut outs on the brim. Well, I’ll take 3 seconds to explain.
This last summer, I spent a lot of time watching baseball, hiking, and shooting in the hot sun. I was “blessed” with a round head with no dents or scratches (ok, maybe a few scars) because God took my hair away at a young age.
Well, sitting out in the sun, I had to make a choice. Do I 1) wear a hat to protect my head but squint the whole time (because wearing sunglasses under a ball cap sucks) … or 2) wear sunglasses so I can see better but worry about the sunburn I’ll get in a few hours.
We discovered this baseball style hat made by Notch with the two cut outs in the side of the brim…so you can pull the hat down on top of your sunglasses. You get to wear almost any style of sunglasses with a hat without sacrificing style or comfort. I’ve taken this hat to sports events, shooting, kayaking, fishing, etc and LOVE it. This Notch hat is what I needed years ago.
